On Friday, 19 September, the Family Business Network Ireland was proud to host our National Family Business Conference 2025 at The Helix, DCU.

The conference brought together family business leaders, advisors, and stakeholders from across the country for a day of insights, discussion, and networking. With a strong focus on resilience, succession, and sustainable growth, the programme explored the challenges and opportunities facing family enterprises today.

We were honoured to be joined by Jack Chambers TD, Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation, who delivered the opening address and highlighted the vital role of family businesses in Ireland’s economy and communities. Throughout the day, engaging panel discussions and keynote contributions provided practical perspectives and fresh ideas on succession planning, next-generation leadership, governance, and innovation.

Alongside the formal programme, delegates enjoyed valuable opportunities to connect with peers and advisors — reinforcing the unique sense of community that underpins family business in Ireland.

A sincere thank you to our partners — Arachas Corporate Brokers Ltd, HR Duo, Kmend.com, Pinergy, Praesta Ireland, and Gartlan Furey LLP — for their generous support, and to all who joined us for what was a memorable and inspiring day.

We look forward to continuing the conversation and working together to strengthen and celebrate Ireland’s family businesses.
